It was by watching language professionals work that TradooIT's design team decided to develop its own translation tool suite. The keen eye of our analysts was able to identify places where computers could help language professionals improve their productivity and the quality of their work. Then, language professionals provided the programmers with their valuable feedback and suggestions throughout the development phase. Calculation of statistics on thousands of occurrences
To make it easier to view the thousands of results that it finds, TradooIT calculates statistics on things such as the different variants, translations and sources found, and then presents them to you as filters. This marvel of technology is based directly on the language professional's mental process and
takes advantage of the computer's processing power to do the tedious part of the work for you. In no time, TradooIT finds your string and its variants, finds their equivalents, groups together identical or relatively similar strings, and ranks them by frequency. So, why settle for the first ten results when you can
see them all at a glance?
Filtering on variants, translations and source
Recognizing that too much is as bad as too little, TradooIT provides you with an effective filtering feature that lets you refine your search in a heartbeat. Simply select an item in one or more categories to display only the corresponding results. These categories include variants (different forms of the desired string, with or without capitals, stemming, etc.), translations and the source (code for the website, client, etc.). The filters are the magnets that help you find a needle in a haystack!
Powerful query language
TradooIT provides you with outstanding search flexibility for a bilingual concordancer. Its simple yet powerful query language greatly facilitates the search for collocations. Among other things, it lets you search on word stems and include variables in your expressions. For example, "
write+ ? letter+" allows you to find "write a letter", "writing letters", "write your letters", etc. The possibilities are limited only by your imagination!
